Just as he did in the first leg against France, Kim Yong-hak will look to use his quick feet to find space in the Honduran backline.
He’s no stranger to the European stage, having made his debut for Portugal’s first team this season, so his confidence is high.
[Kim Yong-hak, U20 National Team: “There are a lot of spaces in the back of the side, so I think I’ll have to exploit that a lot, and the players are spaced far apart, so I’ll have to use the space in between.”]
After breaking down France with a bold counter-attacking strategy, Kim Eun-joong warned that they will have to be vigilant against Honduras.
[Kim Eun-joong, U20 Head Coach: “Winning the first game is already in the past, and we will prepare thoroughly so that we can bring the desired result as much as possible.”]
The young Taeguk Warriors, who are looking to recreate the myth of the 2019 tournament runners-up, can virtually seal an early spot in the round of 16 with a second straight win over Honduras.
