Maggie’s ‘Theatre of Life’… Multi-hit before going down to the minors

After missing Game 1 of the doubleheader, Maggie took the opportunity to come in as a pinch hitter as Pittsburgh took a huge 12-0 lead going into the bottom of the sixth. When lead batter Jason DeLay hit a triple in the top of the 7th inning, Hayes was removed from the dugout and Maggie was placed at bat.
