Superman came back.

MLB.com, the official homepage먹튀검증 of the Major League Baseball (MLB), reported on the 21st (Korean time) that outfielder Cole Calhoun (36) had signed a minor league contract with the New York Yankees. Calhoun signed with the Seattle Mariners in February, but was released in March and left without a team. The Yankees needed reinforcements as veteran hitters including Giancarlo Stanton and Donaldson left due to injuries.

Calhoun made his big league debut in 2012 and played 11 seasons until last year. His career batting performance is 1196 games, batting average of 0.243, 173 home runs and 557 RBIs. Since 2014, he has hit double-digit home runs for seven consecutive years. In particular, in 2019, he also exploded his personal record of 33 homers in a single season. Last year, he marked a batting average of 0.196 (76 hits in 388 at-bats) with 12 homers and 49 RBIs for the Texas Rangers.

Calhoun’s trademark is the ‘Superman Catch’. He won the American League Gold Glove in 2015 and has excellent defensive skills. Calhoun, who will wear the Yankees uniform, is planning to seek a call-up opportunity from the minor league Triple-A to the big leagues.
